“Allahuu Akbar” thirty-four times, and “ Subhan ALLAH ” thirty-three times, and “Alhaamdu Lillah” thirty-three times for that is better than a servant.”

Al-Tirmidhi

Recorded that Abu Huraira (R.A) said:

“The Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A.W.S] said, May he be humiliated, the man in whose presence I am mentioned and he does not send Salah upon me; may he be humiliated, the man who sees the month of Ramadan come and go, and he is not forgiven; may he be humiliated, the man whose parents live to old age and they do not cause him to be granted admittance to Paradise.”

Sahih Muslim: Chapter 1, Book 2: Purification (Kitab Al-Taharah), Number 0432:

Abu Malik at-Ash’ari (R.A) reported:

 The Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A] said: Cleanliness is half of Faith and al-Hamdu Liliah (Praise be to ALLAH) fills the scale, and Subhan ALLAH (Glory be to ALLAH) and al-Hamdu Liliah (Praise be to ALLAH) fill up what is between the heavens and the earth, and prayer is a light, and charity is proof (of one’s faith) and endurance is a brightness and the Holy Qur’an is a proof on your behalf or against you. All men go out early in the morning and sell themselves, thereby setting themselves free or destroying themselves.

Sahih Muslim: Chapter 9, Book 2: Purification (Kitab Al-Taharah), Number 0482:

Abu Huraira (R.A) reported:

 The Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A] came to the graveyard and said: Peace be upon you! The abode of the believing people and we if ALLAH [S.W.T] so wills, are about to join you. I love to see my brothers. They (the hearers) said: Arn’t we your brothers-Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A]? He said: You are my companions, and our brothers are those who have, so far, not come into the world. They said: Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A], how would you recognize those persons of your Ummah who have not yet been born? He said: Supposing a man had horses with white blazes on fore-heads and legs among horses which were all black, tell me, would he not recognize his own horses? They said: Certainly. Messenger of ALLAH [S.W.T] [S.A]. He said: They would come with white faces and arms and legs owing to ablution, and I would arrive at the Cistern before them. Some people would be driven away from my Cistern as the stray camel is driven away. I would call out. Come, come. Then it would be said (to me): These people changed themselves after you, and I would say: Be off, be off.

2. To offer the (compulsory congregational) prayers dutifully and perfectly.

 While I was going to help this man (‘Ali Ibn Abi Talib), Abu Bakar (R.A) met me and asked, “Where are you going?” I replied, “I am going to help that person.” He said, “Go back for I have heard ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] saying, ‘When two Muslims fight (meet) each other with their swords, both the murderer as well as the murdered will go to the Hell-fire.’ I said, ‘O ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle! It is all right for the murderer but what about the murdered one?’ ALLAH [S.W.T]‘s Apostle [S.A.W.S.] replied, “He surely had the intention to kill his companion.”

Sahih Bukhari: Volume 1, Book 2: Belief, Number 33:

 The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said, “Whoever has the following four (characteristics) will be a pure hypocrite and whoever has one of the following four characteristics will have one characteristic of hypocrisy unless and until he gives it up.

1. Whenever he is entrusted, he betrays.

2. Whenever he speaks, he tells a lie.

3. Whenever he makes a covenant, he proves treacherous.

He said disapprovingly, “Do (good) deeds which is within your capacity (without being overtaxed) as ALLAH [S.W.T] does not get tired (of giving rewards) but (surely) you will get tired and the best deed (act of Worship) in the sight of ALLAH [S.W.T] is that which is done regularly.”

Sahih Bukhari: Volume 1, Book 2: Belief, Number 43:

ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] said, “You have to offer prayers perfectly five times in a day and night (24 hours).” The man asked, “Is there any more (praying)?” ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] replied, “No, but if you want to offer the Nawafil prayers (you can).” ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] further said to him: “You have to observe fasts during the month of Ramadan.” The man asked, “Is there any more fasting?” ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] replied, “No, but if you want to observe the Nawafil fasts (you can.)” Then ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] further said to him, “You have to pay the Zakat (obligatory charity).” The man asked, “Is there any thing other than the Zakat for me to pay?” ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] replied, “No, unless you want to give alms of your own.” And then that man retreated saying, “By ALLAH [S.W.T] ! I will neither do less nor more than this.” ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] said, “If what he said is true, then he will be successful (i.e. he will be granted Paradise).”

Sahih Bukhari: Volume 1, Book 2: Belief, Number 45:

Later on (a pot full of) water for ablution was brought to ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S]. He put his hand in that pot and ordered the people to perform ablution from it. I saw the water springing out from underneath his fingers till all of them performed the ablution (it was one of the miracles of the Prophet [S.A.W.S]).

Sahih Bukhari: Volume 1, Book 4: Wudu’, Number 184:

 Narrated Asma’ bint Abu Bakr (R.A):

 I came to ‘Aisha (R.A) the wife of the Prophet [S.A.W.S] during the solar eclipse. The people were standing and offering the prayer and she was also praying. I asked her, “What is wrong with the people?” She beckoned with her hand towards the sky and said, ” Subhan ALLAH .” I asked her, “Is there a sign?” She pointed out, “Yes.” So I, too, stood for the prayer till I fell unconscious and later on I poured water on my head. After the prayer, ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] praised and glorified ALLAH [S.W.T] and said, “Just now I have seen something which I never saw before at this place of mine, including Paradise and Hell. I have been inspired (and have understood) that you will be put to trials in your graves and these trials will be like the trials of Ad-Dajjal, or nearly like it (the sub narrator is not sure of what Asma’ said). Angels will come to every one of you and ask, ‘What do you know about this man?’ A believer will reply, ‘He is Muhammad [S.A.W.S], ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle, and he came to us with self-evident truth and guidance. So we accepted his teaching, believed and followed him.’ Then the Angels will say to him to sleep in peace as they have come to know that he was a believer. On the other hand a hypocrite or a doubtful person will reply, ‘I do not know but heard the people saying something and so I said the same.’

Sahih Bukhari: Volume 1, Book 8: Prayers, Number 429:

ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] said, “I have been given five things which were not given to any amongst the Prophets before me. These are:

1. ALLAH [S.W.T] made me victorious by awe (by His frightening my enemies) for a distance of one month’s journey.

2. The earth has been made for me (and for my followers) a place for praying and a thing to perform Tayammum. Therefore my followers can pray wherever the time of a prayer is due.

3. The booty has been made Halal (lawful) for me (and was not made so for anyone else).

4. Every Prophet [P.B.U.T] used to be sent to his nation exclusively but I have been sent to all mankind.

5. I have been given the right of intercession (on the Day of Resurrection.)

My parts are eating (destroying) one another. So ALLAH [S.W.T] allowed it to take two breaths, one in the winter and the other in the summer. The breath in the summer is at the time when you feel the severest heat and the breath in the winter is at the time when you feel the severest cold.”

And this is because if he performs ablution and does it perfectly and then proceeds to the mosque with the sole intention of praying, then for every step he takes towards the mosque, he is upgraded one degree in reward and his one sin is taken off (crossed out) from his accounts (of deeds). When he offers his prayer, the Angels keep on asking ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Blessings and ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Forgiveness for him as long as he is (staying) at his Musalla. They say, ‘O ALLAH [S.W.T] ! Then that man (or some other man) stood up while the Prophet [S.A.W.S] was delivering the Friday sermon, and said, “We are drowned; Please invoke your Lord to withhold it (rain) from us” The Prophet [S.A.W.S] smiled and said twice or thrice, “O ALLAH [S.W.T] ! Please let it rain round about us and not upon us.” The clouds started dispersing over Medina to the right and to the left, and it rained round about Medina and not upon Medina. ALLAH [S.W.T] showed them (the people) the miracle of His Prophet and His response to his invocation.

Sahih Bukhari: Volume 8, Book 73: Good Manners and Form (Al-Adab), Number 245:

Narrated Abu Huraira (R.A):

 The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said, “ALLAH [S.W.T] loves sneezing but dislikes yawning; so if anyone of you sneezes and then praises ALLAH [S.W.T] , every Muslim who hears him (praising ALLAH [S.W.T] ) has to say Tashmit to him. But as regards yawning, it is from Satan, so if one of you yawns, he should try his best to stop it, for when anyone of you yawns, Satan laughs at him.”

Sahih Bukhari: Volume 8, Book 75: Invocations, Number 412:

 Narrated Abu Huraira (R.A):

 ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] said,” Whoever says: “La ilaha illal-lah wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahu-l-mulk wa lahu-l-hamd wa huwa ‘ala kulli shai’in qadir,” one hundred times will get the same reward as given for manumitting ten slaves; and one hundred good deeds will be written in his accounts, and one hundred sins will be deducted from his accounts, and it (his saying) will be a shield for him from Satan on that day till night, and nobody will be able to do a better deed except the one who does more than he.”

Sahih Bukhari: Volume 8, Book 77: Divine Will (Al-Qadar), Number 607:

 Narrated Abu Musa (R.A):

 While we were with ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] in a holy battle, we never went up a hill or reached its peak or went down a valley but raised our voices with Takbir. ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] came close to us and said, “O people! Don’t exert yourselves, for you do not call a deaf or an absent one, but you call the All-Listener, the All-Seer.” The Prophet [S.A.W.S] then said, “O ‘Abdullah bin Qais! Shall I teach you a sentence which is from the treasures of Paradise? ( It is): ‘La haula wala quwata illa billah. (There is neither might nor power except with ALLAH [S.W.T] ).”

Sahih Bukhari: Volume 8, Book 78: Oaths and Vows, Number 672:

 Narrated Al-Musaiyab (R.A):

 When the death of Abu Talib approached, ALLAH [S.W.T] Apostle [S.A.W.S] came to him and said, “Say: La ilaha illALLAH, a word with which I will be able to defend you before ALLAH [S.W.T].”

Sahih Bukhari: Volume 8, Book 78: Oaths and Vows, Number 673:

 Narrated Abu Huraira (R.A):

 ALLAH [S.W.T] Apostle [S.A.W.S] said, “(Following are) two words (sentences or utterances that are very easy for the tongue to say, and very heavy in the balance (of reward,) and the must beloved to the Gracious Almighty (And they are): Subhan ALLAH wa bi-hamdihi; Subhan Allahi-l-’Azim”

Sahih Bukhari: Volume 9, Book 85: Saying Something under Compulsion (Ikraah), Number 74:

Narrated Anas (R.A):

ALLAH [S.W.T] Apostle [S.A.W.S] said, “Whoever possesses the (following) three qualities will have the sweetness of faith

(1) The one to whom ALLAH [S.W.T] and His Apostle becomes dearer than anything else;

(2) Who loves a person and he loves him only for ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Sake;

(3) Who hates to revert to atheism (disbelief) as he hates to be thrown into the fire.”

Sahih Bukhari: Volume 9, Book 92: Holding Fast to the Qur’an and Sunnah, Number 379:

 Narrated Abu Huraira (R.A):

 The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said, “There was no Prophet among the Prophets but was given miracles because of which people had security or had belief, but what I was given was the Divine Inspiration which ALLAH [S.W.T] revealed (The Qur’an) to me. So I hope that my followers will be more than those of any other prophet on the Day of Resurrection.”

Sahih Bukhari: Volume 9, Book 92: Holding Fast to the Qur’an and Sunnah, Number 400:

 Narrated Ibn Masud (R.A):

 I was with the Prophet [S.A.W.S] at one of the farms of Medina while he was leaning on a date palm leaf-stalk. He passed by a group of Jews and some of them said to the other, Ask him (the Prophet [S.A.W.S]) about the spirit. Some others said, “Do not ask him, lest he should tell you what you dislike” But they went up to him and said, “O Abal Qasim [S.A.W.S]! Inform us about the spirit.” The Prophet [S.A.W.S] stood up for a while, waiting. I realized that he was being Divinely Inspired, so I kept away from him till the inspiration was over. Then the Prophet [S.A.W.S] said, “(O Muhammad, they ask you regarding the spirit, Say: The spirit its knowledge is with my Lord (i.e., nobody has its knowledge except ALLAH [S.W.T] )” (17.85) (This is a miracle of the Qur’an that all the scientists up till now do not know about the spirit, i.e. how life comes to a body and how it goes away at its death)

Sahih Muslim: Chapter 18, Book 41: Pertaining To Turmoil And Portents Of The Last Hour (Kitab Al-Fitan Wa Ashrat As-Sa’Ah), Number 7015:

An-Nawwas b. Sam’an reported (R.A):

That ALLAH [S.W.T] Messenger [S.A.W.S] made a mention of the Dajjal one day in the morning. He sometimes described him to be insignificant and sometimes described (his turmoil) as very significant rand we felt) as if he were in the cluster of the date-palm trees. When we went to him (to the Holy Prophet [S.A.W.S]) in the evening and he read (the signs of fear) in our faces, he said: What is the matter with you? We said: ALLAH [S.W.T] Messenger [S.A.W.S], you made a mention of the Dajjal in the morning (sometimes describing him) to be insignificant and sometimes very important, until we began to think as if he were present in some (near) part of the cluster of the date-palm trees. Thereupon he said: I harbor fear in regard to you in so many other things besides the Dajjal. If he comes forth while I am among on, I shall contend with him on your behalf, but if he comes forth while I am not amongst you, a man must contend on his own behalf and ALLAH [S.W.T] would take care of every Muslim on my behalf (and safeguard him against his evil). He (Dajjal) would be a young man with twisted, contracted hair, and a blind eye. I compare him to ‘Abd-ul-’Uzza b. Qatan. He who amongst you would survive to see him should recite over him the opening verses of Sura Kahf (xviii.). He would appear on the way between Syria and Iraq and would spread mischief right and left. O servants of ALLAH [S.W.T] ! Adhere (to the path of Truth). We said: ALLAH [S.W.T] Messenger [S.A.W.S], how long would he stay on the earth? He said: For forty days, one day like a year and one day like a month and one day like a week and the rest of the days would be like your days. We said: ALLAH [S.W.T] Messenger [S.A.W.S], would one day’s prayer suffice for the prayers of day equal to one year? Thereupon he said: No, but you must make an estimate of time (and then observe prayer). We said: ALLAH [S.W.T] Messenger [S.A.W.S], how quickly would he walk upon the earth? Thereupon he said: Like cloud driven by the wind. He would come to the people and invite them (to a wrong religion) and they would affirm their faith in him and respond to him. He would then give command to the sky and there would be rainfall upon the earth and it would grow crops. Then in the evening, their posturing animals would come to them with their humps very high and their udders full of milk and their flanks stretched. He would then come to another people and invite them. But they would reject him and he would go away from them and there would be drought for them and nothing would be left with them in the form of wealth. He would then walk through the waste, land and say to it: Bring forth your treasures, and the treasures would come out and collect (themselves) before him like the swarm of bees. He would then call a person brimming with youth and strike him with the sword and cut him into two pieces and (make these pieces lie at a distance which is generally) between the archer and his target. He would then call (that young man) and he will come forward laughing with his face gleaming (with happiness) and it would at this very time that ALLAH [S.W.T] would send Jesus Christ, son of Mary (P.B.U.T), and he will descend at the white minaret in the eastern side of Damascus wearing two garments lightly dyed with saffron and placing his hands on the wings of two Angels (P.B.U.T). When he would lower his head, there would fall beads of perspiration from his head, and when he would raise it up, beads like pearls would scatter from it. Every non-believer who would smell the odor of his self would die and his breath would reach as far as he would be able to see. He would then search for him (Dajjal) until he would catch hold of him at the gate of Ludd and would kill him. Then a people whom ALLAH [S.W.T] had protected would come to Jesus, son of Mary (P.B.U.T), and he would wipe their faces and would inform them of their ranks in Paradise and it would be under such conditions that ALLAH [S.W.T] would reveal to Jesus (P.B.U.H) these words: I have brought forth from amongst MY servants such people against whom none would be able to fight; you take these people safely to Tur, and then ALLAH [S.W.T] would send Yajuj/Gog and Majuj/Magog and they would swarm down from every slope. The first of them would pass the lake of Tiberius and drink out of it. And when the last of them would pass, he would say: There was once water there. Jesus (P.B.U.H) and his companions would then be besieged here (at Tur, and they would be so much hard pressed) that the head of the ox would be dearer to them than one hundred diners and ALLAH [S.W.T] Apostle, Jesus (P.B.U.H), and his companions would supplicate ALLAH [S.W.T] , Who would send to them insects (which would attack their necks) and in the morning they would perish like one single person. ALLAH [S.W.T] Apostle, Jesus (P.B.U.H), and his companions would then come down to the earth and they would not find in the earth as much space as a single span which is not filled with their putrefaction and stench. ALLAH [S.W.T] Apostle, Jesus (P.B.U.H), and his companions would then again beseech ALLAH [S.W.T] , WHO would send birds whose necks would be like those of Bactrian camels and they would carry them and throw them where ALLAH [S.W.T] would Will. Then ALLAH [S.W.T] would send rain which no house of clay or (the tent of) camels’ hairs would keep out and it would wash away the earth until it could appear to be a mirror. Then the earth would be told to bring forth its fruit and restore its blessing and, as a result thereof, there would grow (such a big) pomegranate that a group of persons would be able to eat that, and seek shelter under its skin and milch cow would give so much milk that a whole party would be able to drink it. And the milch camel would give such (a large quantity of) milk that the whole tribe would be able to drink out of that and the milch sheep would give so much milk that the whole family would be able to drink out of that and at that time ALLAH [S.W.T] would send a pleasant wind which would soothe (people) even under their armpits, and would take the life of every Muslim and only the wicked would survive who would commit adultery like asses and the Last Hour would come to them.

Sahih Bukhari: Volume 3, Book 30: Virtues of Madinah, Number 105:

Narrated Anas bin Malik (R.A):

 The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said, “There will be no town which Ad-Dajjal will not enter except Mecca and Medina, and there will be no entrance (road) (of both Mecca and Medina) but the Angels (P.B.U.T) will be standing in rows guarding it against him, and then Medina will shake with its inhabitants thrice (i.e. three earth-quakes will take place) and ALLAH [S.W.T] will expel all the nonbelievers and the hypocrites from it.”

Sahih Bukhari: Volume 4, Book 54: Beginning of Creation, Number 462:

Narrated Ibn Abbas (R.A):

 The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said, “On the night of my Ascent to the Heaven, I saw Moses (P.B.U.H) who was a tall brown curly-haired man as if he was one of the men of Shan’awa tribe, and I saw Jesus (P.B.U.H) a man of medium height and moderate complexion inclined to the red and white colors and of lank hair. I also saw Malik (P.B.U.H), the gate-keeper of the (Hell) Fire and Ad-Dajjal amongst the signs which ALLAH [S.W.T] showed me.” (The Prophet [S.A.W.S] then recited the Holy Verse): “So be not you in doubt of meeting him’ when you met Moses during the night of Mi’raj over the heavens” (32.23) Narrated Anas and Abu Bakra (R.A): “The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said, “The Angels (P.B.U.T) will guard Medina from Ad-Dajjal (who will not be able to enter the city of Medina).”

Sahih Bukhari: Volume 5, Book 59: Military Expeditions led by the Prophet [S.W.A.S] (Al-Maghaazi), Number 685:

Narrated Ibn Umar (R.A):

 We were talking about Hajjat-ul-Wada, while the Prophet [S.A.W.S] was amongst us. We did not know what Hajjat-ul-Wada’ signified. The Prophet [S.A.W.S] praised ALLAH [S.W.T] and then mentioned Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal and described him extensively, saying, “ALLAH [S.W.T] did not send any Prophet (P.B.U.T) but that Prophet (P.B.U.H) warned his nation of Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal. Noah (P.B.U.H) and the Prophets (P.B.U.T) following him warned (their people) of him. He will appear amongst you (O Muhammad [S.A.W.S]‘s followers), and if it happens that some of his qualities may be hidden from you, but your LORD’s State is clear to you and not hidden from you. The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said it thrice. Verily, your LORD is not blind in one eye, while he (i.e. Ad-Dajjal) is blind in the right eye which looks like a grape bulging out (of its cluster). No doubt! ALLAH [S.W.T] has made your blood and your properties sacred to one another like the sanctity of this day of yours, in this town of yours, in this month of yours.” The Prophet [S.A.W.S] added: No doubt! Haven’t I conveyed ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Message to you?” They replied, “Yes,” The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said thrice, “O ALLAH [S.W.T] ! Be witness for it.” The Prophet [S.A.W.S] added, “Woe to you!” (or said), “May ALLAH [S.W.T] be merciful to you! Do not become infidels after me (i.e. my death) by cutting the necks (throats) of one another.”

Sahih Bukhari: Volume 9, Book 87: Interpretation of Dreams, Number 124:

Narrated Abu Qatada (R.A):

The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said, “A good dream is from ALLAH [S.W.T] , and a bad dream is from satan. So whoever has seen (in a dream) something he dislike, then he should spit without saliva, thrice on his left and seek refuge with ALLAH [S.W.T] from satan, for it will not harm him, and satan cannot appear in my shape.”

Sahih Bukhari: Volume 9, Book 88: Afflictions and the End of the World, Number 237:

Narrated Abu Huraira (R.A):

ALLAH [S.W.T] Apostle [S.A.W.S] said, “The Hour will not be established

(1) Till two big groups fight each other whereupon there will be a great number of casualties on both sides and they will be following one and the same religious doctrine,

(2) Till about thirty Dajjals (liars) appear, and each one of them will claim that he is ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle,

(3) Till the religious knowledge is taken away (by the death of Religious scholars)

(4) Earthquakes will increase in number

(5) Time will pass quickly,

(6) Afflictions will appear,

(7) Al-Harj, (i.e. killing) will increase,

(8) Till wealth will be in abundance —- so abundant that a wealthy person will worry lest nobody should accept his Zakat, and whenever he will present it to someone, that person (to whom it will be offered) will say, ‘I am not in need of it,

(9) Till the people compete with one another in constructing high buildings,

(10) Till a man when passing by a grave of someone will say, ‘Would that I were in his place

(11) And till the sun rises from the West. So when the sun will rise and the people will see it (rising from the West) they will all believe (embrace Islam) but that will be the time when: (As ALLAH [S.W.T] said,) ‘No good will it do to a soul to believe then, if it believed not before, nor earned good (by deeds of righteousness) through its Faith.’ (6.158) And the Hour will be established while two men spreading a garment in front of them but they will not be able to sell it, nor fold it up; and the Hour will be established when a man has milked his she-camel and has taken away the milk but he will not be able to drink it; and the Hour will be established before a man repairing a tank (for his livestock) is able to water (his animals) in it; and the Hour will be established when a person has raised a morsel (of food) to his mouth but will not be able to eat it.”

Narrated Anas (R.A):

 The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said, “No Prophet (P.B.U.T) was sent but that he warned his followers against the one-eyed liar (Ad-Dajjal). Beware! He is blind in one eye, and your LORD is not so, and there will be written between his (Ad-Dajjal’s) eyes (the word) Kafir (i.e., disbeliever).” (This Hadith is also quoted by Abu Huraira (R.A) and Ibn ‘Abbas (R.A)).

Sahih Bukhari: Volume 9, Book 88: Afflictions and the End of the World, Number 246:

Narrated Abu Sa’id (R.A):

 One day ALLAH [S.W.T]‘s Apostle [S.A.W.S] narrated to us a long narration about Ad-Dajjal and among the things he narrated to us, was: “Ad-Dajjal will come, and he will be forbidden to enter the mountain passes of Medina. He will encamp in one of the salt areas neighboring Medina and there will appear to him a man who will be the best or one of the best of the people. He will say ‘I testify that you are Ad-Dajjal whose story ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S] has told us.’ Ad-Dajjal will say (to his audience), ‘Look, if I kill this man and then give him life, will you have any doubt about my claim?’ They will reply, ‘No,’ Then Ad-Dajjal will kill that man and then will make him alive. The man will say, ‘By ALLAH [S.W.T] , now I recognize you more than ever!’ Ad-Dajjal will then try to kill him (again) but he will not be given the power to do so.”

Narrated ‘Abdullah (R.A):

ALLAH [S.W.T]‘s Apostle [S.A.W.S] said, “Do not wish to be like anyone, except in two cases:

(1) A man whom ALLAH [S.W.T] has given wealth and he spends it righteously.

(2) A man whom ALLAH [S.W.T] has given wisdom (knowledge of the Qur’an and the Hadith) and he acts according to it and teaches it to others.”

Sahih Bukhari: Volume 9, Book 92: Holding Fast to the Qur’an and Sunnah, Number 448:

Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri (R.A):

(1) None knows what is in the womb, but ALLAH [S.W.T] ;

(2) None knows what will happen tomorrow, but ALLAH [S.W.T] ;

(3) None knows when it will rain, but ALLAH [S.W.T] ;

(4) None knows where he will die, but ALLAH [S.W.T] (knows that) ;

(5) And none knows when the Hour will be established, but ALLAH [S.W.T] .”

If he remembers ME in himself, I too, remember him in MYSELF; and if he remembers ME in a group of people, I remember him in a group that is better than they; and if he comes one span nearer to ME, I go one cubit nearer to him; and if he comes one cubit nearer to ME, I go a distance of two outstretched arms nearer to him; and if he comes to ME walking, I go to him running.’”

Sahih Bukhari: Volume 9, Book 93: Oneness, Uniqueness of ALLAH [S.W.T] (Tawheed), Number 507:

Narrated Anas (R.A):

The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said, “ALLAH [S.W.T] will gather the believers on the Day of Resurrection in the same way (as they are gathered in this life), and they will say, ‘Let us ask someone to intercede for us with our Lord that He may relieve us from this place of ours.’ Then they will go to Adam (P.B.U.H) and say, ‘O Adam! Don’t you see the people (people’s condition)? ALLAH [S.W.T] created you with His Own Hands and ordered His Angels to prostrate before you, and taught you the names of all the things. Please intercede for us with our Lord so that He may relieve us from this place of ours.’ Adam (P.B.U.H) will say, ‘I am not fit for this undertaking’ and mention to them the mistakes he had committed, and add, “But you’d better go to Noah (P.B.U.H) as he was the first Apostle sent by ALLAH [S.W.T] to the people of the Earth.’ They will go to Noah (P.B.U.H) who will reply, ‘I am not fit for this undertaking,’ and mention the mistake which he made, and add, ‘But you’d better go to Abraham (P.B.U.H), Khalil Ar-Rahman.’ They will go to Abraham (P.B.U.H) who will reply, ‘I am not fit for this undertaking,’ and mention to them the mistakes he made, and add, ‘But you’d better go to Moses(P.B.U.H), a slave whom ALLAH [S.W.T] gave the Torah and to whom HE spoke directly’ They will go to Moses (P.B.U.H) who will reply, ‘I am not fit for this undertaking,’ and mention to them the mistakes he made, and add, ‘You’d better go to Jesus (P.B.U.H), ALLAH [S.W.T]’s slave and HIS Apostle and HIS Word (Be: And it was) and a soul created by HIM.’ They will go to Jesus (P.B.U.H) who will say, ‘I am not fit for this undertaking, but you’d better go to Muhammad [S.A.W.S] whose sins of the past and the future had been forgiven (by ALLAH [S.W.T] ).’ So they will come to me and I will ask the permission of my LORD, and I will be permitted (to present myself) before HIM. When I see my LORD, I will fall down in (prostration) before HIM and HE will leave me (in prostration) as long as HE wishes, and then it will be said to me, ‘O Muhammad! Raise your head and speak, for you will be listened to; and ask, for you will be granted (your request); and intercede, for your intercession will be accepted.’ I will then raise my head and praise my Lord with certain praises which HE has taught me, and then I will intercede. ALLAH [S.W.T] will allow me to intercede (for a certain kind of people) and will fix a limit whom I will admit into Paradise. I will come back again, and when I see my LORD (again), I will fall down in prostration before HIM, and HE will leave me (in prostration) as long as HE wishes, and then HE will say, ‘O Muhammad! Raise your head and speak, for you will be listened to; and ask, for you will be granted (your request); and intercede, for your intercession will be accepted.’ I will then praise my LORD with certain praises which He has taught me, and then I will intercede. ALLAH [S.W.T] will allow me to intercede (for a certain kind of people) and will fix a limit to whom I will admit into Paradise, I will return again, and when I see my LORD, I will fall down (in prostration) and HE will leave me (in prostration) as long as HE wishes, and then HE will say, ‘O Muhammad! Raise your head and speak, for you will be listened to, and ask, for you will be granted (your request); and intercede, for your intercession will be accepted.’ I will then praise my LORD with certain praises which HE has taught me, and then I will intercede. ALLAH [S.W.T] will allow me to intercede (for a certain kind of people) and will fix a limit to whom I will admit into Paradise. I will come back and say, ‘O my LORD! None remains in Hell (Fire) but those whom Qur’an has imprisoned therein and for whom eternity in Hell (Fire) has become inevitable.’ “The Prophet [S.A.W.S] added, “There will come out of Hell (Fire) everyone who says: ‘La ilaha illal-lah,’ and has in his heart good equal to the weight of a barley grain. Then there will come out of Hell (Fire) everyone who says: ‘ La ilaha illal-lah,’ and has in his heart good equal to the weight of a wheat grain. Then there will come out of Hell (Fire) everyone who says: ‘La ilaha illal-lah,’ and has in his heart good equal to the weight of an atom (or a smallest ant).”

Sahih Bukhari: Volume 9, Book 93: Oneness, Uniqueness of ALLAH [S.W.T] (Tawheed), Number 532c:

 Narrated ‘Ata’ bin Yazid Al-Laithi (R.A):

 On the authority of Abu Huraira (R.A): The people said, “O ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S]! Shall we see our LORD on the Day of Resurrection?” The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said, “Do you have any difficulty in seeing the moon on a full moon night?” They said, “No, O ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S].” He said, “Do you have any difficulty in seeing the sun when there are no clouds?” They said, “No, O ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S].” He said, “So you will see HIM, like that. ALLAH [S.W.T] will gather all the people on the Day of Resurrection, and say, ‘Whoever worshipped something (in the world) should follow (that thing),’ so, whoever worshipped the sun will follow the sun, and whoever worshiped the moon will follow the moon, and whoever used to worship certain (other false) deities, he will follow those deities. And there will remain only this nation with its good people (or its hypocrites). (The sub-narrator, Ibrahim (R.A) is in doubt.) ALLAH [S.W.T] will come to them and say, ‘I am your LORD.’ They will (deny HIM and) say, ‘We will stay here till our LORD comes, for when our LORD comes, we will recognize HIM.’ So ALLAH [S.W.T] will come to them in HIS appearance which they know, and will say, ‘I am your LORD.’ They will say, ‘YOU are our LORD,’ so they will follow HIM. Then a bridge will be laid across Hell (Fire)’ I and my followers will be the first ones to go across it and none will speak on that Day except the Apostles (P.B.U.T). And the invocation of the Apostles (P.B.U.T) on that Day will be, ‘O ALLAH [S.W.T] , save! Save!’ In Hell (or over The Bridge) there will be hooks like the thorns of As-Sa’dan (thorny plant). Have you seen As-Sa’dan?” They replied, “Yes, O ALLAH [S.W.T]’s Apostle [S.A.W.S]!” He said, “So those hooks look like the thorns of As-Sa’dan, but none knows how big they are except ALLAH [S.W.T] . Those hooks will snap the people away according to their deeds. Some of the people will stay in Hell (be destroyed) because of their (evil) deeds, and some will be cut or torn by the hooks (and fall into Hell) and some will be punished and then relieved. When ALLAH [S.W.T] has finished HIS Judgments among the people, HE will take whomever HE will out of Hell through HIS Mercy. HE will then order the Angels (P.B.U.T) to take out of the Fire all those who used to worship none but ALLAH [S.W.T] from among those whom ALLAH [S.W.T] wanted to be merciful to and those who testified (in the world) that none has the right to be worshipped but ALLAH [S.W.T] . The Angels (P.B.U.T) will recognize them in the Fire by the marks of prostration (on their foreheads), for the Fire will eat up all the human body except the mark caused by prostration as ALLAH [S.W.T] has forbidden the Fire to eat the mark of prostration. They will come out of the (Hell) Fire, completely burnt and then the water of life will be poured over them and they will grow under it as does a seed that comes in the mud of the torrent. Then ALLAH [S.W.T] will finish the judgments among the people, and there will remain one man facing the (Hell) Fire and he will be the last person among the people of Hell to enter Paradise. He will say, ‘O my LORD! Please turn my face away from the fire because its air has hurt me and its severe heat has burnt me.’ So he will invoke ALLAH [S.W.T] in the way ALLAH [S.W.T] will wish him to invoke, and then ALLAH [S.W.T] will say to him, ‘If I grant you that, will you then ask for anything else?’ He will reply, ‘No, by YOUR Power, (Honor) I will not ask YOU for anything else.’ He will give his LORD whatever promises and covenants ALLAH [S.W.T] will demand. So ALLAH [S.W.T] will turn his face away from Hell (Fire). When he will face Paradise and will see it, he will remain quiet for as long as ALLAH [S.W.T] will wish him to remain quiet, then he will say, ‘O my LORD! Bring me near to the gate of Paradise.’ ALLAH [S.W.T] will say to him, ‘Didn’t you give your promises and covenants that you would never ask for anything more than what you had been given? Woe on you, O Adam (P.B.U.H)’s son! How treacherous you are!’ He will say, ‘O my LORD,’ and will keep on invoking ALLAH [S.W.T] till HE says to him, ‘If I give what you are asking, will you then ask for anything else?’ He will reply, ‘No, by YOUR (Honor) Power, I will not ask for anything else.’ Then he will give covenants and promises to ALLAH [S.W.T] and then ALLAH [S.W.T] will bring him near to the gate of Paradise. When he stands at the gate of Paradise, Paradise will be opened and spread before him, and he will see its splendor and pleasures whereupon he will remain quiet as long as ALLAH [S.W.T] will wish him to remain quiet, and then he will say, O my LORD! Admit me into Paradise.’ ALLAH [S.W.T] will say, ‘Didn’t you give your covenants and promises that you would not ask for anything more than what you had been given?’ ALLAH [S.W.T] will say, ‘Woe on you, O Adam (P.B.U.H)’s son! How treacherous you are! ‘The man will say, ‘O my LORD! Do not make me the most miserable of YOUR creation,’ and he will keep on invoking ALLAH [S.W.T] till ALLAH [S.W.T] will laugh because of his sayings, and when ALLAH [S.W.T] will laugh because of him, HE will say to him, ‘Enter Paradise,’ and when he will enter it, ALLAH [S.W.T] will say to him, ‘Wish for anything.’ So he will ask his LORD, and he will wish for a great number of things, for ALLAH [S.W.T] HIMSELF will remind him to wish for certain things by saying, ‘(Wish for) so-and-so.’ When there is nothing more to wish for, ALLAH [S.W.T] will say, ‘This is for you, and its equal (is for you) as well.” ‘Ata’ bin Yazid (R.A) added: Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri (R.A) who was present with Abu Huraira (R.A), did not deny whatever the latter said, but when Abu Huraira (R.A) said that ALLAH [S.W.T] had said, “That is for you and its equal as well,” Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri (R.A) said, “And ten times as much, O Abu Huraira!” Abu Huraira (R.A) said, “I do not remember, except his saying, ‘That is for you and its equal as well.’” Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri (R.A) then said, “I testify that I remember the Prophet [S.A.W.S] saying, ‘That is for you, and ten times as much.’” Abu Huraira (R.A) then added, “That man will be the last person of the people of Paradise to enter Paradise.”

Sahih Bukhari: Volume 9, Book 93: Oneness, Uniqueness of ALLAH [S.W.T] (Tawheed), Number 564:

Narrated Abu Huraira (R.A):

“A man from the Muslims and a man from the Jews quarreled, and the Muslim said, “By Him Who gave superiority to Muhammad [S.A.W.S] over all the people!” The Jew said, “By Him Who gave superiority to Moses (P.B.U.H) over all the people!’ On that the Muslim lifted his hand and slapped the Jew. The Jew went to ALLAH [S.W.T] Apostle [S.A.W.S] and informed him of all that had happened between him and the Muslim. The Prophet [S.A.W.S] said, “Do not give me superiority over Moses (P.B.U.H), for the people will fall unconscious on the Day of Resurrection, I will be the first to regain consciousness and behold, Moses (P.B.U.H) will be standing there, holding the side of the Throne. I will not know whether he has been one of those who have fallen unconscious and then regained consciousness before me, or if he has been one of those exempted by ALLAH [S.W.T] (from falling unconscious).”

Sahih Bukhari: Volume 9, Book 93: Oneness, Uniqueness of ALLAH [S.W.T] (Tawheed), Number 624:

Narrated Ibn ‘Umar (R.A):

ALLAH [S.W.T] Apostle [S.A.W.S] said, “Your stay (in this world) in comparison to the stay of the nations preceding you, is like the period between ‘Asr prayer and the sun set (in comparison to a whole day). The people of the Torah were given the Torah and they acted on it till midday and then they were unable to carry on. And they were given (a reward equal to) one Qirat each. Then the people of the Gospel were given the Gospel and they acted on it till ‘Asr Prayer and then they were unable to carry on, so they were given la reward equal to) one Qirat each. Then you were given the Qur’an and you acted on it till sunset, therefore you were given (a reward equal to) two Qirats each. On that, the people of the Scriptures said, ‘These people (Muslims) did less work than we but they took a bigger reward.’ ALLAH [S.W.T] said (to them). ‘Have I done any oppression to you as regards your rights?’ They said, “No.” Then ALLAH [S.W.T] said, ‘That is My Blessing which I grant to whomsoever I will.’”
